I'm the founder and designer behind Pearl Valentine.

I created Pearl Valentine to heal.

I’ve always felt like clothing could be more than just something cute to put on. The right piece can make you feel like a completely different version of yourself. It can bring back a memory, tell a story, connect you to your culture, or remind you of a part of yourself you haven't felt in a while.

I believe your body is a temple, and how you choose to adorn it matters. Getting dressed can be an act of self-love. You should be able to put something on and feel beautiful, feminine, powerful, soft, sexy, whatever feels like you that day.

That's a big part of what I'm creating with Pearl Valentine.

I don't want to make clothes just because they're pretty or because they're what's trending. I want the designs to have a feeling behind them. A story. A reason for existing.

Some pieces come from my own experiences. Some come from memories, culture, women I've known, or simply an idea that won't leave me alone. I design from the inside out, and I make each piece by hand because I want that intention to stay in the garment.

That's also why Pearl Valentine is made to order.

We're living in a world where clothes are made faster and cheaper than ever, and I wanted to create something that felt personal. Something slower. Something you can actually feel the care in.

So yes, I want you to think the clothes are beautiful.

But I also want you to feel something when you wear them.

I want you to feel like you can take up space. Like you can be seen. Like you can dress a little more like the royalty you are.
